INTERNSHIPS

An Education from the Ground Up

Intern Zach of Oregon Mainline Paving

I had friends who had internships at other companies and didn’t have as much fun as I did. I worked hard but the people have a good attitude and make it fun. – Zach

As an OMP intern you will experience all aspects of the construction process: Aggregate and asphalt production, materials testing, project management, and on-site construction and field work.

We pair each intern with an experienced mentor who will make sure you are challenged and supported throughout the summer. We expect you’ll have lots of questions and we will take the time to teach you. You’ll find we’re more like a family who works hard and laughs a lot.

We’re looking for motivated civil engineering and construction management students seeking a hands-on internship that includes:

  • mentorship
  • problem solving
  • responsibility
  • camaraderie

Keeping All Lanes Moving

With headquarters in McMinnville, Oregon, we operate and maintain three portable asphalt plants throughout the state. We self-perform most of our work including aggregate mining & production, underground utility installation, earthwork & excavation, grading, and asphalt paving.  Sustainability is important—we recycle more asphalt than any other portable highway contractor in the region.

We became a preferred heavy civil contractor for the Oregon Department of Transportation  and a majority of our work is through ODOT. We have four operations teams that facilitate our projects including excavation, paving, asphalt production and quality control. We’re always on the lookout for new people to join our team.
